Traffic speeding through the village – extra SpeedWatch volunteers needed – can you spare an hour or two to help?

The parish council has asked West Mercia Police to set up a Community Speed Watch for Kingsland. Coordinated by the police, the scheme enables local people to take an active role in road safety, and aims to  encourage motorists to drive at a safe and appropriate speed.

Some volunteers have come forward but more are needed so if you can spare an hour of your time to help reduce speeding though the village please contact the Clerk by email or telephone 01568 770776.

You can read a leaflet from West Mercia police on how it works via the link here.
